Navigating the modern world can be daunting.

Is your child struggling?

College Friends

Today's kids face so many challenges, it's not surprising that sometimes they need a little extra help.

Modern teenagers and sub-teenagers encounter distinctive mental health challenges due to the fast-paced, technology-driven world they inhabit.

Social media exposes them to constant comparison, fostering feelings of inadequacy and anxiety.

Cyberbullying is a growing issue, leading to isolation and depression.

Academic pressure emphasizes high achievement, often resulting in burnout and anxiety.

Unrealistic beauty standards perpetuated by media contribute to body dissatisfaction and eating disorders.

Substance abuse is a concern, exacerbating existing mental health problems or creating new ones.

Adolescents also struggle with identity formation, questioning self-worth, sexual orientation, and gender identity, leading to emotional distress.

Then they face hormonal changes during puberty which contribute to mood swings and emotional volatility.

Frequently asked Questions

Q. Is hypnosis safe for children and teenagers?
Yes. Hypnosis is gentle, safe and age appropriate. Children naturally access focused and imaginative states with ease.

Q. What happens in the first appointment?
The first session allows time to understand what your child is struggling with, help them feel safe and supported, and begin building emotional regulation and confidence.

Q. Does my child have to talk about everything?
No. Many children feel relief knowing they do not have to explain or analyse everything. The work can happen without pressure.

Q. How soon do parents notice changes?
Many parents notice improvements in emotional regulation, sleep, confidence or calm within weeks and sometimes sooner.

Q. Do parents stay in the room?
This depends on age and comfort level. We always prioritise safety, trust and what feels best for your child. Often Sam will do a separate session on the phone or zoom as part of this 2-hour process to ensure maximum understanding and comfort for everyone involved.
