How Hypnotherapy Works
What is hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy is a natural, focused state of awareness where the subconscious mind becomes more open to positive change. You remain aware, present and in control throughout the session.

Frequently asked Questions

What is the Happy U Mental Gym™ method?
The Happy U Mental Gym™ is my integrated approach to mindset and nervous system training. It combines neuroscience, neuro-linguistic programming, clinical hypnosis, peak performance coaching and life coaching principles. It has been developed through thousands of hours of real client experience.

Why is your approach different from traditional therapy?
Traditional therapy often focuses on long-term analysis. My work focuses on stabilisation first. When the nervous system feels safe again, clarity and change happen naturally.

Why do people often feel better after one session?
Because the first session is designed as a reset. We calm the nervous system, interrupt unhelpful patterns and restore hope. You also receive a tailored hypnosis recording to reinforce the work at home.

Is this a long-term therapy model?
No. My intention is not dependency. The goal is to help you trust yourself again and move forward with clarity and confidence.

What is the two-hour first session designed for?
The first appointment is designed as your breakdown to breakthrough moment. It allows time to understand what is happening, create safety, and begin meaningful change immediately.

Do I need to know what I want before I book?
No. Many clients come in feeling confused or overwhelmed. Clarity is something we create together during the session.

What happens after the initial session?
Some people choose to continue with further sessions to deepen change. Others feel stable and confident with the tools they receive. We decide together based on your needs.

Is hypnosis evidence informed?
Yes. The Happy U Mental Gym™ method is grounded in modern neuroscience, behavioural psychology and coaching-based methodologies.
